Anthropic faces a major copyright lawsuit from Sony Music and Warner Music.

They accuse Anthropic of illegally torrenting, scraping and downloading copyrighted music to train its Claude AI models.

The publishers call it "one of the largest and most blatant ongoing thefts of intellectual property in history."

The lawsuit comes shortly after Anthropic agreed to a $1.5 Billion settlement with book authors and publishers over copyright infringement claims.
