Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
In short
- We collect only what we need: your email address for the newsletter, and your name and email address when you buy something.
- We never sell your data, and we never give our subscriber list to advertisers. Sponsors only ever see totals.
- There are no advertising cookies, social media pixels or outside analytics on this site.
- You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data at any time.
- For any question, write to contact@artificialintelligencenews.in.
1. Who we are
The AI Globe is run by EngageLoom Digital Marketing Agency, a sole proprietorship of Nihal Nisar Shaikh, 4th Floor, Office No. 431, Sterling Centre, 11 Moledina Road, Camp, Pune, Maharashtra 411001, India. We decide why and how your personal data is used, which makes us the “Data Fiduciary” under the Act. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that business.
2. What we collect and why
- Newsletter and waitlists. Your email address, which lists you joined, and when. We use it to send the newsletter, and to tell you when a course you are waiting for opens. We collect it only because you ask us to.
- Listing a tool. The tool’s name, website, category and description, your contact email address and the plan you chose. The tool’s details are published in the directory. Your contact email address is not.
- Buying something. Your first and last name, email address, brand or company if you give one, any order notes, and what you bought. Your order also records your IP address, your browser type and how you found us (see Cookies). We use this to deliver your order, send receipts and invoices, handle support and refunds, prevent fraud and meet tax law.
- Card and bank details go straight to our payment provider, which is shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.
- Advertising with us. The contact details, briefs and material you send us. We use them to plan, make and report on your campaign.
- Emailing us. Your email address and your message. We use them to reply.
- Visiting the site. Like most websites, our servers keep short technical logs: your IP address, browser and the pages you requested. We use them to keep the site secure and working. When you send a form, we briefly keep a scrambled (hashed) copy of your IP address to stop automated abuse.
The 3D graphics react to your mouse or finger inside your own browser. Nothing about how you move is sent to us.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser keeps for a website. This site uses only a few, and all of them are our own.
- Visit source (names starting with
sbjs_). These note how you reached us, such as a link in our Instagram bio or a campaign tag, along with your browser type. If you buy something, your order records where it came from. They expire when you close your browser, or after 30 minutes without activity. - Cart (
woocommerce_cart_hash,woocommerce_items_in_cartandwp_woocommerce_session_). These are set only once you add something to your cart, and they keep your cart working. They last up to 2 days.
We use no advertising cookies, no social media pixels and no outside analytics. Our fonts and graphics are served from our own server, so visiting a page doesn’t tell any other company that you were here. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but checkout won’t work without the cart cookies.
4. The newsletter
Our newsletter may record whether an email was opened and which links in it were clicked. We use this to improve the newsletter, and to give sponsors total numbers of opens and clicks. A sponsor never learns who opened or clicked. Every newsletter has a link to unsubscribe, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us.
5. Who we share it with
- Companies that help us run the site, such as our hosting, email delivery and payment providers, and the team that operates the platform for us. They work under contract, and may use your data only to provide their service to us.
- Our payment provider, which processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
- Authorities, when the law requires us to.
We don’t sell or rent your personal data to anyone. Links to Instagram, Threads, Telegram and the tools in our directory take you to services that other companies run. Their own privacy policies apply there.
6. Where your data is kept
Your data is kept on our servers and with our service providers. Some of them may store it outside India. We only transfer data where Indian law allows it.
7. How long we keep it
- Newsletter and waitlists: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data.
- Tool listings: for as long as the listing is in the directory. When it is removed, we delete your contact details unless they are part of a paid order record.
- Orders and invoices: for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep them.
- Emails you send us: for as long as we need them to deal with your request.
- Security logs: for a short time only. The scrambled IP copies used against abuse are deleted within an hour.
8. How we protect it
The site uses an encrypted connection, only people who need your data can access it, and we never store card details. No system is perfectly secure, though. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
9. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, and who we have shared it with;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, which is as easy as giving it;
- make a complaint to our Grievance Officer;
- name someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or can no longer act yourself.
To do any of this, email us from the address you used with us. We may need to confirm that it’s you. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect what we did before, but it may mean we can no longer send you the newsletter or provide a service.
10. Children
You must be 18 or older to subscribe, list a tool or buy anything here. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will email our subscribers and customers before it applies.
12. Contact and Grievance Officer
For any question, request or complaint about your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer:
